Hey, my name is Sam Aceto and I’m the artist behind Fae Trap! I was born and raised in Rhode Island, but I have a passion for traveling and I’ve always felt called to the mountains. I love creating anything from handmade jewelry and bug art to abstract nature photography, trippy mandalas, paintings and drawings of nature. I love to play with color and my work almost always shows it, no matter the medium.
Although I’ve branched out and explored many different mediums, my main mission as an artist is to help people understand the beauty and complexity of nature. Photography has been my focus when it comes to expressing this, although it sometimes comes through in my paintings. I hope I can bring a feeling of peace as well as an appreciation for our Mother Earth to the people around my art.
I’ve recently started my journey in becoming a tattoo artist where my mission remains the same; to connect people with nature. Only now it will be a permanent reminder of natures beauty for each person. I want to help people embrace their own unique connection with nature by adorning their body with the art of what makes them feel most connected.
Some more to know about me is that I’m a certified reiki master! I’m a virgo sun, a leo moon, and I have a (healthy?) obsession with flowers, bugs and the moon. I work a lot with butterflies in memory of my good friend Emily, who pushed me to start this whole thing. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t be where I am today🦋
